I know you are on the brink of failing me and booting me out of next years AP class, and you have every right too, it takes a true teacher to be able to handle what I've been putting not only you through but everyone and myself also, so i thank you for not kicking me out after two months. I am writing this post to try to prove to you that i have gained something from this class, and that i will not do this next year.
At the beginning of this year I was doing a lot of acrylics and colored pencil, and always being disappointed with the outcome, three four months in i began using a little more water color, playing with it and testing its affects on different things, letting my artistic (not studious) abilities grow, i found new techniques, ones that i learned on my own, i began creating things from not only watercolor but ink, pen, and pencil too. I have found that i love mixed media, the combo of watercoloring, but also using colored pencils to highlight and define small details. You can see this used in the last couple projects.
I did what you wanted me to do, i finished the Breadth, put in the photos for the quality and the portfolio breadth. I know you don't want to do this again next year, but I promise i won't procrastinate, i will do my best i possibly can to not make next year a living heck. Besides with having at least 2 hours a day of art this semester, i think i would die if i didn't at least have a period of it next year.
Really really excited though, thank you for being a fantastic teacher, and thank you so so much for your time.
